Nwall is designed to allow local-system chat. It uses GNU readline to accept user input, and broadcasts it to all logged-in users. It also allows users to selectively opt out from receiving nwall messages; opting out of nwall messages does not affect ordinary walls or write/nwrite sessions. All nwall messages are logged to /var/log/nwall.log.
