Pureadmin now shows a list of system changes
needed before using the user manager for the first
time. A progress bar showing download/upload
progress has also been added. Lots of 64-bit
issues have been fixed, making pureadmin runnable
on 64-bit distributions.
This release adds some new tango-based icons in various sizes. Some
minor bugs have been fixed since the 0.3 preview, including startup
notification not working correctly and the status icon not disappearing
when it should.
The major changes are "behind the scenes", and consist of a move to libglade instead of glade code generation, and multiple threads in the program to avoid GUI lockups. Other news includes an optional "notification area" icon for notifications, and gksudo support on Ubuntu and similar.
Build fixes when compiled without binreloc support. A rarely occurring segfault was fixed, and the binary package was updated to be compatible with the latest Autopackage release.
The bug that prevented the user manager from
working when password files are somewhere deep
down the directory structure was fixed. A French
translation was added, and the Swedish one was
updated.
