1.3.0

This is a testing release featuring significant changes to
the internal structure especially of rpmupdate.py to
generate performance enhancements (speedups of
around 30% when dealing with large numbers of files).
Additionally it fixes a bug in vercomp.py that prevented it
from correctly dealing with very large integers ( >32 bits
large).

1.2.1

This release has several significant enhancements over previous releases. The order of package install has been improved to deal with packages dependent on new glibc versions. A debugging framework has been added to allow access to several levels of debugging output so you can follow the program flow. Some small speedups have been added, and support for 'noarch' packages has been implemented correctly. This release has been tested on RH7.3, 8.0, 9 in various configurations to update them to full patch-readiness with just one command (i.e., applying over 300+ patches with one command).

1.1.5

This release adds support for suppressing error
messages, and for ignoring potential failures in the
internal processing of shell commands and attempting
to continue anyway. Also, the net for glibc packages
has been widened to include the New Posix Thread
Library (nptl) packages. This modification along with the
ignoring of potential failures now allows RPMAutoUpdate
to correctly update a default 'everything' RedHat 9
install to full-patch-readiness with one command.
