The ffmpeg version was increased. A DBUS remote
control application was added. The capture area
may now follow the mouse pointer. Direct VOB
creation, Flash Screen Video, and FFmpeg Video 1
are supported.
A couple of bugs were fixed. Basic support for
minimizing to the system tray was added. Russian
and Chinese translations were added. Theora and
Vorbis are now supported (in AVI).
This release has xdamage support for speed, real mouse pointer capture, direct capture to SWF with sound (again), and the ability to resize the capture area by dragging. It displays the capture area dimensions on resize, and has various bugfixes.
This version should be the most tested, polished,
and usable release of xvidcap ever. This version
no longer has an Xt UI. Bugs were fixed.
Documentation was written, and requires yelp to
read it. It is available in English, German,
Italian, and Spanish. On-the-fly frame size
reduction was implemented.
