When compiled for English, the "Interact with Visuals" menu (i.e. '%' command in the original command set) uses a Japanese prompt.

That behavior appears to have been introduced quite some time ago: it's not present in version 1.6.2 but is present in versions of 2.2.1 from 2018.

This commit, https://osdn.net/projects/hengbandforosx/scm/git/hengbandosx/commits/e7c6b4546e1dcb374f5bbffad327e0c96a3fa856 , on the english-interact-visuals-prompt branch (based on Hengband's develop branch) of the hengbandforosx project adds an English prompt for that menu when compiled for English.
