I get this error trying to run Separate+ in GIMP-Win 2.7.3 (dev):

separate_import.exe - Unable to Locate Component This application has failed to start because libtiff3.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

If you are using the Jernej Simončič's distribution, try to following solutions:

  1. Create where\to\GIMP-2.7\32\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins
  2. Copy the Separate+ plug-ins into where\to\GIMP-2.7\32\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins
  3. Duplicate GIMP-2.7\32\bin\libtiff-3.dll and rename it to "libtiff3.dll"
  4. run gimp-2.7.exe

X "GIMP-2.7"
O "GIMP 2.7"

"GIMP 2.7\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins" directory is for the x64 plug-ins.

32bit plug-ins must be installed into "GIMP 2.7\32\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins".

Thanks, that worked. :)

I only needed to copy libtiff-3.dll to libtiff3.dll.

I know this is months later, but here's a "thumbs up" for both the Separate+ package and the above two comments which saved my hiney. Thank you!
