cdr stands for CDRip. It is a Perl program that
uses dialog to provide an ncurses front end for
ripping audio and encoding MP3s. It supports
lame, cdparanoia, and CDDB / FreeDDB

The package has been streamlined quite a bit. cdparanoia and lame are now bundled, and a great deal of the complexity related to supporting all of the other applications has been removed. There are some bugfixes as well, though there are still bugs lurking.
