Download List

Project Description

Gronk is a Web-based MP3 jukebox. It generates heavily-hyperlinked Web pages listing all of your ripped CDs, by extracting information from CDDB data. These Web pages allow easy selection of songs or albums to play, and when nothing has been explicitly selected, it selects songs randomly. Playback is done via either XMMS or mpg123.

The page for an artist now also includes links to tribute albums
(compilations of covers of that artist's songs). Gronk now refuses to
queue a song if it is already on the playlist (to avoid accidental
multiclicks). The search form now lets you list recent additions
within the last N hours or days. A page is generated that lists bands
who appear only on compilation albums. Some minor code cleanup (Perl
de-squicking) has been done.
