Project Description

JasperReports is a Java reporting library. XML report templates are used to generate ready to print documents using data from customizable data sources, including JDBC. The output can be delivered to the screen, printer, or stored in PDF, HTML, XLS, RTF, CSV, and XML format.

This version introduces a new Web framework to support enhanced interactivity in reports, with new repository and data access APIs, an enhanced table component with sortable and filterable columns, and a new component to render geographical maps. It represents a major overhaul of the source code base in which old deprecated code has been removed while making use of newer Java language features such as generics.
