Details

First, I would like to say that MIDITrail is an awesome tool. I use it as a MIDI-player and MIDI-bridge in Mac OS-X, since it's way better and more powerful than the QuickTime MIDI player.

To enhance even further the experience, I would like to suggest a small feature: support to load DLS and SF2 soundfonts. This is supported by the operating system in OS-X, please see the links below:

Comment

MIDITrail now supports DLS / SF2.

  • MIDITrail for iOS (Ver.1.2.0 or later)
  • MIDITrail for macOS (Ver.1.2.5 or later)

MIDITrail's internal synthesizer is implemented very simply and has poor performance. Depending on the wavetable file, the sound may not be output correctly.
