Kyuba is a replacement for the init daemon. It is based on Curie. The goal is to make this program exceedingly fast and small, so that computers can start up and get running as fast as possible.

mdp wraps GnuPG, your favorite editor, a password generator, and a custom temporary fullscreen pager to let you manage your password library securely with the bare minimum. The pager is used to avoid passwords lingering on screen.

cmdftp is a tiny command line FTP client for Unix systems that features
shell-like functions, passive mode, local and remote transparent modes,
broken connection resumption, multiple and recursive file transfers,
auto-login, completion, and large file support.

libsigrokdecode is a shared C library that provides (streaming) protocol decoding functionality. The protocol decoders are written in Python (>= 3.2).

OpenXcom is a new engine for the old game UFO: Enemy Unknown (X-Com: UFO Defense in the USA),
a popular strategy videogame made by Mythos/Microprose in which you take control of the X-Com
organization to fight off the alien menace invading Earth.

libsigrok is a shared C library that provides basic hardware access drivers for logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, MSOs, multimeters, dataloggers, and more. It also provides input/output file format support.

With Snort2Pf, you can turn your local Snort
installation easily into an "intrusion detection
and prevention system", rather than simply using
it for post-mortem analysis. Such a system also
blocks the recognized violations.

fdm (fetch and deliver mail) is a simple, lightweight replacement for mail fetching, filtering, and delivery programs such as fetchmail and procmail. It can fetch using POP3, POP3S, IMAP, IMAPS, or stdin, and deliver to a pipe, file, maildir, mbox, or SMTP server, based on a set of regexps. It can be used for both single user and multiuser setups, and is designed with privilege separation when running as root.

flowd is a small, fast, secure, and featureful NetFlow
collector. It supports NetFlow versions 1, 5, 7, and 9 over IPv4 and IPv6 transports, IPv6 flows (using NetFlow 9), filtering and tagging of received flows using a packet filter-like language, Perl and Python APIs, flexible storage (with run-time selection of which NetFlow fields are stored), reception of multicast flow datagrams, and privilege separation for security. The flowd distribution also includes a set of supplemental tools including analysis and SQL database support.

dhcpy6d delivers IPv6 addresses for DHCPv6 clients, which can be identified by DUID, hostname, or MAC address, as in the good old IPv4 days. Addresses may be generated randomly, by range, or by arbitrary ID or MAC address. Clients can get more than one address, leases and client configuration can be stored in databases, and DNS can be updated dynamically.

mod_backhand is a load balancing module for Apache. It provides per-request HTTP redirection within a heterogeneous Apache server cluster. Each request is processed and run through a set of "candidacy functions" to determine which server is best suited to respond. The request is then proxied to that server. Facilities are in place to allow you to write your own dynamically loadable decision making algorithms. Everything about the request and the current availability of resources can be used in the decision-making process.

HATop is an interactive ncurses client and real-time monitoring and statistics displaying tool for the HAProxy TCP/HTTP load balancer. HATop's appearance is similar to top(1). It supports various modes for detailed statistics of all configured proxies and services in near real-time. In addition, it features an interactive CLI for the HAProxy Unix socket. This allows administrators to control the given HAProxy instance (change server weight, put servers into maintenance mode, etc.) directly out of HATop (using keybinds or the CLI) and monitor the results immediately.

XFMail is an X11 application for receiving
electronic mail. It implements most of its email
functionality internally so that it does not
depend on a lot of extra packages. It supports
POP3, MBOX, IMAP4, sendmail, and SMTP. It has
built-in support for interfacing with PGP, GPG,
ispell/aspell, faces, LDAP, and esound. It runs on
most Unix variants.
