Ice Sound Manager was designed to ease the
management of sound events, sound themes, and the
IceSound server in the IceWM window manager. It is
also intended to be an improvement upon the noble
but primitive icesndcfg. The main improvements
over icesndcfg include a support for sound event
"themes", more comprehensive help, easy management
and configuration of the IceSound server, a
cleaner GUI interface, automatic starting of the
IceSound server, and a more conservative approach
to disk space usage.

System Installer (a component of the System
Installation Suite) is a tool to install a system
with any Linux distribution. It builds Linux
operating system images that can be propogated to
remote machines using SystemImager and
SystemConfigurator.

BitNami LAMPStack Native Installer is an easy-to-install environment to develop and deploy PHP applications. It includes pre-configured, ready-to-run versions of Apache, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin. Amazon AWS PHP SDK makes it easier to develop PHP applications that run on Amazon Web Services. The AWS PHP SDK includes the AWS PHP library, code samples, and documentation.

TurnKey MediaWiki Appliance is a server appliance for MediaWiki, the Web-based wiki platform used by Wikipedia. It is designed to be easy to use and easy to maintain. Security patches are automatically installed. It provides a Web management interface, configuration console, and an AJAX Web shell. To minimize footprint the appliance is built from the ground up with the minimum required components. It runs everywhere thanks to multiple build formats, including an installable live CD, a VMDK with OVF support, and an Amazon EC2 AMI.

Mulimidix is a mini Linux distribution for
building a PC-based set-top box and multimedia
player system with digital TV, MP3, DivX, etc.
support, using VDR, Freevo and other tools. It is
currently optimized for i686.

GSUtil is a utility for saving, restoring, and
rebooting GrandStream BudgeTone 100 and GX2000
VOIP phones, amongst others. It's written in Perl
and was developed using standard Perl modules, so
no extra modules need to be installed.

VASC is a configuration fileset for Samba, the SMB
implementation for UNIX systems. It includes
automated logon scripts, profile directories, and
other features.

JailTool is a script that creates a full chroot environment out of a declarative .jail file. To accomplish this it uses available package registration databases like the dpkg database and Perl CPAN .packlist files to create lists of files to be copied. It includes methods to prune the resulting filelist to your needs. It can create start/stop scripts for daemon related jails. It copies everything from the installed base system, and thus can make use of shared libraries without the need to create special chroot versions of programs.

Bcfg2 helps system administrators produce a consistent, reproducible, and verifiable description of their environment, and offers visualization and reporting tools to aid in day-to-day administrative tasks. It is based on an operational model in which the specification can be used to validate and optionally change the state of clients, but in a feature unique to bcfg2 the client's response to the specification can also be used to assess the completeness of the specification. Using this feature, bcfg2 provides an objective measure of how good a job an administrator has done in specifying the configuration of client systems. Bcfg2 is therefore built to help administrators construct an accurate, comprehensive specification. Bcfg2 has been designed from the ground up to support gentle reconciliation between the specification and current client states. It is designed to gracefully cope with manual system modifications. Bcfg2 can also enable the construction of complex change management and deployment strategies.

Einarc is a unified storage RAID command line
interface and an API that provides management for
various hardware/software RAID devices, uniting
them all in a single paradigm. Einarc works as a
translator that makes it possible for a user to
control all these devices using simple terms like
"physical disc", "logical disc", "adapter", etc.,
while transparently converting these requests to
proprietary RAID paradigms.

Loki Setup is a graphical installer for Unix applications. It features descriptions of the package to install in XML, a GTK interface that can be dynamically redefined by the user with Glade, raw and ncurses console interfaces, and the automatic generation of uninstall scripts. It has been successfully used on many Linux and UNIX platforms. It includes tools for uninstalling, patching, and recovering installations. It operates independently from any package managers.

netboot is a tiny PXE-aware combined DHCP and TFTP
server. It can be used to bootstrap the Ubuntu or
Debian net installer. Other uses include assigning
an address to a network device like ILO to
configure it. It needs almost zero configuration.
